These records of the Society of First Baptist Church, 1826-1848 contain meeting notices and committee appointments. It also include the list of 62 men who were involved in organizing the church in January, 1826.

SHARES OF THE PROPRIETORS OF THE FIRST BAPTIST MEETING HOUSE, October 4, 1826

This is the list of the original shareholders of First Baptist Church in Lowell. In this time period, proprietors were church members who paid to own a certain portion of the church's stock. There were a total of 100 shares issued.

This book contains minutes of meetings of the shareholders of the First Baptist Meeting House. This committee was responsible for the business management of the organization, including securing the property, raising funds, and building the meeting house. The first page states the approval of incorporation by the State Legislature.
