Volunteering Volunteering with FUBC is a rewarding experience. Volunteers teach Sunday School, organize speaking programs and book studies, build houses for Habitat for Humanity, read the scriptures during worship, and do other things to demonstrate God’s love and purpose for our lives.
Like all American Baptist Churches, we are responsible for all decisions regarding our organization, such as selecting insurance coverage, lining up guest preachers to cover for the minister’s time off, hosting “coffee, tea, and talk time” after each service, and so on. There is no central church hierarchy managing these details for us; volunteers are always needed to ensure that FUBC carries out all of its operations and remains financially solid.
To volunteer, speak with the pastor or email the church office and you will be connected to the appropriate ministry lay leader.
Matthew 6:21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
